Privacy Policy

• Account information. When you sign in with an email magic link, Google, or Sign in with Apple, we store your email address in our authentication provider (Supabase Auth) to identify your account.
• Content you create. The YouTube URLs you submit and the summaries, transcripts, tags, and quiz results generated from them are stored so you can return to them. This data is scoped to your account with row-level security.
• Push notification tokens. If you enable notifications, we store a device token so we can tell you when a summary is ready.

We use your information to authenticate you, generate and store your summaries, sync your library across devices, and send the "summary ready" notifications you opt into. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

FastGrasp lets you bring your own AI provider keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini). If you choose to add a key, it is stored in that browser's local storage on the web, or in iCloud Keychain in the iOS app, where Apple may sync it to your other devices. It does not sync through your FastGrasp account. FastGrasp's servers never store your personal AI keys.

We rely on a small set of service providers to operate FastGrasp. Each processes data only to provide their service to us:

• Supabase — database and authentication (hosted on AWS).
• Cloudflare — application hosting and delivery.
• Google Gemini API — generating summaries (used when you have not supplied your own AI key).
• YouTube Data API — searching for videos and retrieving video metadata.
• Supadata and Apify — retrieving video transcripts.
• Apple Push Notification service — delivering push notifications.

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account in the app. Deleting your account permanently removes your data, including your summaries, transcripts, quiz results, and device tokens.

FastGrasp is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here.
