Paste a YouTube link — or type just the video ID

Need a hand? Email us at ammon.curtis@gmail.com and we'll get back to you. Including the video URL and a short description of what happened helps us respond faster.
Paste a YouTube link (or search for a video) in FastGrasp and tap Grasp. We'll fetch the transcript and generate a structured summary with sections, timestamps, and key points. If you've enabled notifications, we'll let you know as soon as it's ready.
The most common reasons are that the video has no available transcript or captions, is private or age-restricted, or is very long. If it keeps failing, try a different video to confirm, then email us the URL and we'll take a look.
You can add your own OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini API key in settings to use your own AI provider. On the web, your key stays in that browser and must be added separately in other browsers. In the iOS app, iCloud Keychain may sync it to your other Apple devices. It does not sync through your FastGrasp account and is never stored on FastGrasp's servers. If you don't add a key, FastGrasp uses its own provider to generate summaries.
Go to Profile → Delete Account in the app. This permanently removes your account and all associated data, including your summaries, transcripts, quiz results, and device tokens.
